Low-Inductive HybridPACK™ HD Power Module for Future Proof-eTRUCK Inverters

Compared to passenger cars, in eTrucks much higher energy and lifetime is required. To meet these requirements, the HybridPACK™ HD offers a cost-performance-optimized package. The current routing concept via busbars enables the efficient use of SiC at minimum substrate area. A thermally optimized substrate layout as well as a high-performance joining technology (HPJT) and material […]

How to build up a fast ASIL-D compliant control loop system for electric cars

Modern electric vehicles require fast and safe control loops in several different subsystems. Traction inverter, HVAC (heating, venting, and air conditioning) pumps, on-board charger and high voltage (HV) to low voltage (LV) DCDC converter are the most advanced systems with high safety levels and fast control loop requirements. Using the example of a DCDC converter, […]

Fast Simulation of Complex, Nonlinear Dynamical Systems with AI Surrogate Models

Taking advantage of the increased computational power that has been made available during the last decade, the complexity of simulation models in a wide range of domains, including the simulation of highly electrified vehicles, has risen considerably. As a result, even the fastest hardware may take a considerable amount of time to finish one simulation. […]

Circular Economy in Power Electronics – Status 2025

The circular economy in electronics aims to address the growing challenge of e-waste by promoting sustainable practices such as recycling, refurbishing, and reusing electronic sub-systems “on highest level” or second life. This article explores key concepts like the EU Green Deal, urban mining, and product carbon footprint, and highlights the urgent need for a circular […]

Stabilization of power supply through smart algorithms for optimizing power sources in the vehicle’s low voltage power network

Abstract Stabilization of power supply through smart algorithms for optimizing power sources in the vehicle’s low voltage power network Schäffler AG, Vitesco Technologies GmbH, Regensburg Authors: F. Rifai While the electrification of passenger cars used to be generally limited by the power performance of the power sources such as batteries, HV/LV DCDC and eventually a […]

Come-Together am 13. Juni
