Low-Inductive HybridPACK™ HD Power Module for Future Proof-eTRUCK Inverters

Compared to passenger cars, in eTrucks much higher energy and lifetime is required. To meet these requirements, the HybridPACK™ HD offers a cost-performance-optimized package. The current routing concept via busbars enables the efficient use of SiC at minimum substrate area. A thermally optimized substrate layout as well as a high-performance joining technology (HPJT) and material stack are used to meet the lifetime requirements. The power module is contacted using a laser welding technology for the overlapping busbars. This provides an almost creepage-free connection technology that ensures a low-inductance system design with a high level of robustness against mechanical vibration loads.
