Anatoliy Lyubar has been Head of Advance Development of Hybrid Technologies in the Technology & Innovation division at Vitesco Technologies, Continental’s Powertrain division, since August 2020. He has been working there since 2005 and has already held various positions in simulation, component and system pre-development. Anatoliy Lyubar studied electrical engineering with a specialisation in automation technology, data and signal processing at the National Technical University of Ukraine.

After completing his studies in 1998, he worked as an intern at the Chair of Thermodynamics at the Technical University of Munich on automation and digital image processing for pulse holography. From 1999 onwards, he worked there as a research assistant. As part of his doctorate, he developed numerically efficient simulation methods for the combustion processes in supersonic combustors and used them in the design process. In further simulation tasks for the automotive industry, Anatoliy Lyubar dealt intensively with crashes, strength, fluid dynamics and electrodynamics.
