Juris Tlatlik studied electrical engineering at the University of Paderborn, among other places, and started his professional career as a development engineer for customised switch-mode power supplies at Delta Energy Systems. Here he developed various AC/DC and DC/DC converters for telecom and server applications.

In 2008, Juris Tlatlik moved to HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA in the “Energy Management” division. During this time, his task was to develop DC/DC converters for micro and mild hybrids until they were ready for series production.

In 2012, he took over the management of hardware development there and from 2016 to 2020 he was also responsible for the domains of mechanics and testing.

Until 2023, he will be in charge of the worldwide development of “Power Electronics” products in the area of “Energy Management” at HELLA.

Juris Tlatlik has been working as Senior Director R&D and Quality Management at PHOENIX CONTACT Power Supplies GmbH since 2023.
