André Körner received a diploma degree in Mechatronics from the Technical University Dresden and a PhD in electrical engineering also from the Technical University Dresden.
He joined HELLA KGaA Hueck & Co. in 1991 as a Design Engineer where he was responsible for the electrical, magnetic and mechanical design of electromechanical relays. From 2000 until 2004 Dr. Körner served there as the Head of Development for Relays. From 2004 until 2009 he worked as Project Manager for Advanced Development Body & Energy, where he was responsible for system development and project management of future mechatronic devices and systems.
Since 2009 Dr. Körner is the Program Manager for HELLA’s Advanced Development for Energy Management Products with responsibilities for the Advanced Development roadmap for micro hybrid, hybrid and electric vehicle power system components such as battery management, switched mode power converters and switching devices.
